21 years ago, Audrey Guth recognized a huge gap in the credibility of the nanny placement industry and created a company that provides exceptional service to families and nannies in Canada. As president of Diamond Personnel, now one of the most renowned nanny agencies worldwide, Audrey has made respect for the nanny profession and excellent customer service the hallmarks of her company.
Audrey is a mother of four and a breast cancer survivor. During her own experience with breast cancer she noticed there was no childcare support available to mothers in treatment. She realized that linking volunteer professional nannies with newly diagnosed mothers would help reduce the stress mothers and their families feel throughout treatment.
A proposal for funding the Nanny Angel Network was presented to Rethink Breast Cancer, a bold charity that helps young people affected by and concerned about breast cancer through innovative education, research and support programs. Rethink immediately recognized the value this service would have for young mothers in treatment and generously funded the project. And the Nanny Angel Network was born.
